Donations
Financial gifts are always needed and appreciated. You can make a secure donation here or mail a check to PO Box 601 Bardstown, KY 40004.
We have all the needs of a regular household and we gratefully accept the following donated items:
- Non-perishable food items
- Hygiene items, such as shampoo, deodorant, soap or bodywash and feminine hygiene products
- Cleaning supplies
- Laundry detergent
- Paper products, such as toilet paper and paper towels
We are unable to accept clothing items, as we have very little storage space.

Volunteer! There Are So Many Ways to Lend a Helping Hand
Volunteers are crucial to our mission and we are always grateful to have you on our team! Room in the Inn is where we need our volunteers the most. You can donate your time at intake between the hours of 4:30-6:00pm. Intake volunteers help sign people in and ensure all of their paperwork is complete or volunteer to provide hot meals for Room in the Inn, which are served 7 nights per week to 5-15 people per night. You can also volunteer with our Street Outreach team, getting much needed supplies out to our community members who are living on the streets unsheltered.
