About Christy’s Place
Transitional shelter for homeless women (with or without children).
Christy’s Place has 4 private family bedrooms, 3 shared bedrooms, and 1 accessible bedroom, 3 shared bathrooms, and a kitchen, living room and playroom. We keep the kitchen stocked, so no guest will have to worry about feeding themselves or their children, and we provide all household supplies.
Additional Services Provided
We provide case management weekly and as needed for the following topics:
- Budgeting
- Resume writing
- Employment applications
- House hunting & rental applications
- Peer counseling
- Advocacy
- Referrals
We are also available for guidance in obtaining government benefits, such as food stamps and health insurance, filing disability, finding child care, enrolling a child in school and finding a medical doctor or counselor.
